So glad we managed to stay here + Nice to stay somewhere with a little bit of history and a little bit of luxury, whilst still being close to the major sights. Lovely setting in the internal courtyard for breakfast and the cafe just outside is good too - recommend the afternoon tea and music in the evenings. All the staff were friendly and helpful. − The pool area is small - only 5 loungers - and the noise from the food court next door can be a bit annoying, but it wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

Highlight of our holiday to stay at the Blue Mansion! + Loved the ambience and history of the Blue Mansion. Such a wonderful place to stay and explore George Town it was the highlight of our holiday. − Not enough sunbeds so did not get to experience the pool.

Extremely well managed hotel, well maintained. + Heritage building, well maintained. Staff was extremely helpful with some minor matters. − The hotel TV music while traditional, did lend a sense of eeriness to the place. The walk to Chulia Street was a bit far for my ageing mother.

Joli hôtel confortable. + Très joli bâtiment. Les chambres ont du cachet. Personnel attentionné. − La piscine est très chlorée et assez petite. L’établissement est visité par les touristes en journée, mais la partie chambre est préservée.

Wishing we could stay forever! + This is an exceptional historic hotel with some modern comforts — including excellent beds/linens, showers, and outdoor pool area. Service is friendly and efficient. It is within walking distance of all major sights in Penang and there is an excellent street food court with live music down the road. We are wishing we had never left! − Everything is perfect.
