+ So close to everything and to the beach, a really nice restaurant nearby, the Old Town Mezze. The accommodation was so quiet, I was dealing with a family bereavement while there, so nice to have peace and quiet to reflect. An great shower, very powerful, also very comfortable bed 👍🏼 − N/a

Awful + Good location − Very dirty room was described as spacious double room double bed was actually a very small double bed or large single dust everywhere staff very unhelpful very unfriendly would not recommend to anybody

Good location + The location was brilliant, very easy to check in staff were really nice. The chippy underneath was the highlight, the food was perfect. − The bed was too small and so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep at all . The bed is on a slant so anyone who sleeps by the wall will fall out of bed . We left utterly exhausted

We won’t be returning. + Breakfast not offered. . − Electric kettle didn’t work, so no morning coffee. The smoke alarm on the ceiling was covered with a plastic bag. The ceiling was dirty. The staircase up to the room (room 5) was narrow steps, covered in thick carpet, and very steep. Not particularly safe.

Comfortable and convenient, a good place to stay. + Clean and convenient. − Bathroom floor was slippery when wet. The main door lock was loose.

+ Central to Hastings Old Town and local amenities. − Would have been nice if the person showing us the room had told us, that the tab on the key, needs to be inserted into the wall to get the lights to work. Didn’t get home till late and had no idea how to put the lights on.

Best location if you want to experience the old town + Good location, easy to check in as the shop down statues was open, clean and a lovely room − Wasn’t told how to check out but at the same time could have asked, didn’t think of it at the time until Having to leave the key or put it through the letter box - could do with a check out box to leave the keys in

Stayed here twice now, overall impressed for the money, however, on this occasion we found what appeared to be dog hairs + Great location for the Old Town. Easy check in. − What looked like dog hairs on the quilt cover. Light bulb not working.
