+ Great location, some lovely colours in the decor, fans were a blessing in the hot weather. Really smart set up for collecting keys etc. And parking was easily arranged. − The appartment, decor was a bit tired. Lots of marks on the paint work especially in the kitchen. It was clean but it looked like there had been a lot of grease splashed around at some point, and the laminate floor was raised and chipped in places. Some sugar soap and a fresh coat of emulsion would work wonders. Also there was a bit of a "drain" smell- though in fairness it was hot weather when we were there. Also the blind in the livingroom was wound right up and we couldn't get it to close so it didn't feel very private.

Great area felt safe and secure, comfy huge beds not far from the city + The beds were huge and comfy. The area was safe and secure. The comms were excellent throughout. Clean and fresh linen. − Heating coming on in the early hours of a very hot apartment, would have liked to have opened the back window more than a crack, back bedroom a bit cramped and some things were broken but if the holiday owner hadn't been notified it's not their fault.

It was lovely we had a great time + It was clean and easy access and close to the city centre − The bedroom doors don’t close properly and bang through the night we had to put shoes behind to stop it

Suited us perfectly. + We liked the location in a residential area but within a short walk of the centre of York. The apartment suited us perfectly and would use it again. It had everything we needed and a few items to get us started. − Would have liked better lighting in the bathroom or bedroom for hair and make up or even a magnifying mirror.
