+ Quick and easy check in, good sized room. Good location a relatively short walk from the railway station. Bonus points for leaving four tea bags in the drinks making box, rather than the two most places leave!

+ Great pub in the centre of Totnes. Nice big room with comfy bed and clean bathroom. Very friendly staff in bar . They do a great deal on meals if you stay ,50%off and food was tasty. We had 50% off brunch too at the Café47 across the street. Live music on a Saturday night was an added bonus.Totnes is a lovely town full of independent shops and cafes. − Room was noisy as above the kitchen , aircon and fridges all night.

Central hotel for a visit to Totnes + Location was right in the town centre on the high street. It was a bit noisy with the window open but once the pub shut it was fine. Breakfast in the cafe over the round was great. − Parking was a bit of a problem but we found a long stay car park a short walk away.

Great vibe, great service and excellent location + Great pub, loved the atmosphere. Good menu and tasty food. Excellent location in the centre of town and short walk from the train station. Team were really friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend. − Accommodation is a little tired but does the job.

This friendly central pub in Totnes was a real winner. + A very warm welcome from the nice guy behind the bar when we checked in. Really delicious meal with generous helpings. Our room was simple but central to the town and with v enjoyable live band on Saturday evening. Locals evidently support these evenings so again a great atmosphere. Superb breakfast at the adjoining ‘sister’ cafe. − Nothing. It was all great, a rustic pub/ hotel. For anyone with major issues with steps, the flight up to the bedrooms was possibly a bit of a challenge but hopefully they would have asked about access.

Pleasant. − In room 4. Music below went on a bit past closing time. Nothing much really, but I was a woken up once. And I got a bit naughty and rang the bar to tell them to switch it down. Feel a bit guilty about that now, as they are friendly hard working staff. So apologies. Grumpy mood. It’s a nice place.
