Did the job for one night but wouldn't stay for two + Location is amazing right in the centre of the village and Clean − I know its an apartment but not even one roll of toilet paper, we were only staying one night so before kids could use bathroom we had to go shop. Also couldn't get heating right, very cold in some rooms and one bedroom way too hot

Co + We loved the cleanliness and size of each room, the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom including a little room with useful things like a fan (especially in the summer), vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. − On site parking would have been ideal however we had free overnight parking in the church car park across the road which our hosts advised us of prior to arriving which we really appreciated.

Very accessible + Great location: We came for a night stay so that we get to climb Pan Y Fan early morning to catch the sunrise on the New Year’s Day. It was also very accessible for me: I often get refused to stay at places with my guide dog even though it’s against the law, but I had no issues at all at The Castle Lodge. They even went above and beyond to make the check in process much easier. − I had no issues at all. I would gladly stay here again.

Quiet, cozy stay + One of the best location when staying in Tredegar - you got everything you need right here and there. It's fairly easy to enter the facility and the instructions are clear, too. Host is awesome. − The Entrance Gate is just a bit slow when opening but other than that it's all good. It's just a minor thing so not too bad. It can get cold in the rooms but you can preferably change the temperature. (More of a feedback and not really what I 'dislike'. :) )

Apartment was great, but Town Centre disappointing. However, as a motorbike base for touring it was perfect. + Inside the property was nice, newly refurbished, great kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable beds. − Tredegar wasn't the greatest town with an unkempt feel to the frontage of the Castle Hotel and nearby. Cars with pop-bang exhausts were noisy throughout the early hours. The property was fine, behind electric security gates with free rear parking in the courtyard. The entrance door was very poor quality and could do with being replaced. Why it wasn't after renovation is baffling. Whilst the weather was slightly warm, inside the apartment was stuffy and could do with a few fans.

would like to get some refund as i had to spend money as can’t sleep in cold without duvet. − very bad service. there were no any kitchen towel or any cloth in kitchen. less duvet provided had to sleep in cold without duvet set. calling the number provided for help no one picked up the phone.No handwash in the toilets.
