Would stay again if cheaper + Great location near the train station. We wanted to be close to Shibuya and Shinjuku area without being in them. We also liked being a few blocks from Meguro river. The accommodations were also very roomy. There's even a balcony. This is good for a family or a large group of people The hosts are also very nice. − The building is...old. Lots of things rusting away and a general musty smell in everything even the room. A humidifier was running in the room and is necessary. The beds were thin and hard and basically just a mattress on a platform. This may be a Tokyo thing, but the price was high for what we got.

It was a fantastic stay — I really hope I get the chance to stay there again next time! + The location is super convenient — just step out of the alley, turn a corner, and you’re at Meguro Station, which has three supermarkets inside. The apartment is clean, fully equipped with modern appliances, and beautifully decorated — it really feels like home. During our stay, whenever we had a question, the host responded right away. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent quality. − It would be better if the comforter could be swapped for a thicker one. Good thing there was heating — I still managed to sleep pretty well.

Fabulous location, lots of space, nice apartment! + We loved staying here for our family of 4. Great space, well equiped kitchen, the washing machine and dryer were brilliant and we loved the location. Such a short walk to the Meguro Station which was so handy for our 8 year old after a long day of sight seeing. − We would have liked to have a few more pillows (only one per bed) and we normally use two.

Very uncomfortable. Wont be recommending this place . + It was convenient. Station was a couple minute walk. − It states it’s a two bedroom apartment. Well it’s not. It’s one bedroom and they placed two single beds in the lounge room. Ended up being too small for a group of four people . Couldn’t open the sliding doors to go outside and everything was squashed together .

+ Clean, comfortable and close to Subway station − Apartment was advertised as having 2 separate bedrooms which isn’t true. It’s a 1 bedroom apartment with additional bed in the living room without any separation.

Excellent + I loved that the hosts were very accommodating and quick to reply. The unit was well stocked with equipment, toiletries, kitchen and dining stuff. The place was clean. This is a highly recommended property. − The extra bed was quite hard, but the sofa was comfortable enough and long enough for our heights. Those served us well during the stay.

Nice apartment with modern appliances. Close to shopping, dining and metro station. + Communication with hosts excellent. Modern and updated renovation. Kitchen appliances are top of the line. Washer and dryer top of the line. Bathroom and shower top of the line. Apartment is close to (a few minutes) shopping, dining and a main train station. Larger neighborhoods of Tokyo close to and easily accessible with public transportation. − Only issue (minor) was one small area of the couch had an odor, other than that the place is well maintained and comfortable.

Clean apartment and friendly staff + The place provided a homely feel and many amenities. This is our third stay with this host and we appreciate the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. Pros: * 4 beds provided (2 beds in the bedroom, 2 beds in the living room) * Large spacious comfortable couch with big television to help relax at the end of a day * 2-minute walk to Meguro Station * Quiet, safe neighborhood * Staff are kind and respond fairly quickly. They are often available to come to the apartment personally to help * Bathroom is spacious; strong showerhead * Separate washer and dryer available * Many amenities provided (towels, detergent, slippers, toothbrushes, dishware and dish rack, umbrellas, water heater, vacuum) − Cons: * The 2 beds in the living room are hard, as other guests have noted.
