+ My friend and I stayed at B&B Pignatelli for 3 nights and had a really nice stay. Antonio is a very calm, kind and helpful host. He doesn't speak English, but uses Google Translate, so communication was easy. After spending time with him, we even wished he spoke English, as he seems very interesting. When we arrived, he took the time to explain Matera to us, showed us what was worth seeing and gave us some good recommendations. One day, he even drove us to the hill on the other side of Matera, so we could see the city from a different perspective. He also showed us a large cave where prehistoric people used to live. We really appreciated this, as it gave us a chance to see and learn about a different side of Matera that we probably would not have found by ourselves. The room and bathroom were very clean and everything was well looked after. Antonio takes care of the B&B himself, and he puts a lot of effort into keeping everything clean and comfortable. + The location is very good, only a few minutes from the old town. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We were allowed to check in earlier than indicated. The host was extremely nice. He took the time to draw us a map of Matera and highlighted the most important places to see. The breakfast we had was modest, but it was early in the morning, so the host informed us he would not be able to get fresh pastries. However, he made up for it in offering us some of our favourite fruits and another favour. He also insisted that we take some food for later. If we ever visit Matera again, we're definitely staying here again. − Nothing

Sistemazione top + Praticamente tutto. La posizione è ottima. L' accoglienza è stata super. Il Signor.Pignatelli da subito si è mostrato accogliente e premuroso. Avevo chiesto il check in anticipato e quando siamo arrivati ci ha invitati ad accomodarci e di aspettare pochi minuti che saremmo entrati in stanza. Siamo arrivati verso le 11 di mattina. Abbiamo dormito qui una notte. La camera da letto era deliziosa con bagno annesso. Tutto bene pulito ed in ordine. Il proprietario prima di uscire ci ha dato molte informazioni su Matera raccontandoci brevemente la storia e le sue curiosità. È stato piacevole e istruttivo. La mattina seguente abbiamo fatto colazione nella cucina dell' appartamento, preparata dal Sign. Pignatelli, molto varia e con buoni prodotti. Il caffè espresso era veramente buono. Ci siamo soffermati a fare una lunga chiacchierata prima di partire. In futuro, saremo lieti di prendere in considerazione nuovamente la sua sistemazione.
