You get what you pay for... 15eur/night cannot expect more + Location was ok for my travel purpose but far from city center. − Bedsheets were not clean and not changed every day. The wardrobe was damaged and the floor in the bathroom not clean neither (found a bandage on the floor).

Not enjoyed it + Nothing − We arrived at the hotel to check in and the receptionist said they did not have any booking information from booking.com about our booking. So we had to wait for them to check this and that….luckily they got rooms for us at last.

Bad − Air conditioner not working ,the room is so hot with no windows in Vietnam weather, can't sleep, and very noisy from staff working and walking on corridor, poor reception staff, unprofessional, did not tell me about extra charge of $30000 per hour if check in before 12pm, only tell me and insist to charge me extra after I checked in

Great location, excellent staff. + The staff were excellent, very helpful. − Breakfast buffet. Cooked food always ran out and was not replenished.

Beware There are TWO California Saigon Hotels + It looks very grand which it is, with good service, breakfast, comfortable rooms and the location is perfect. I left my luggage there while I went travelling and on my return (which I had booked earlier for two more nights), I found I had mistakenly booked their sister hotel, also called California Saigon hotel some distance away. This one is called CALIFORNIA SAIGON (With rooftop pool), so I wasn't the only person to get it wrong!! Anyway, they found a room for us and the other California Saigon, didn't charge me Loved the rooftop pool and chill out area. Essential when coping with the high humidity − The coffee was like treakle, but easily watered down!!
