+ What an amazing experience. Our hosts were amazing. First Maria-Teresa and then Francesco. So enthusiastic to give us all the information, not just about the property, but of the history and culture of the whole area. The room was spectacular! Beds Comfortable. Everything you need is supplied. Would definitely come back Thank you for sharing you unique property with us. − The only problem was that we kept having to empty the dehumidifiers, but you are in cave, so it is logical.

Matera ed i suoi sassi sono sempre di grande attrattiva. + location molto particolare inserita in un contesto davvero unico. ottima la poszione, che consente di raggiungere sia la parte alta che quella bassa della città in pochi minuti di cammino, e ovviamente attraversando molto scale. ottima la colazione con buona varietà e qualità. personale molto gentile ed accogliente.

Lugar maravilhoso, quarto enorme e aconchegante !! + Que lugar maravilhoso: o quarto é enorme e muito charmoso, tem toda toda uma história de que já pertenceu a uma família, muito legal !! O café da manhã é uma delícia cheio de opções maravilhosas !! A equipe é muito simpática, sempre dispostos a dar dicas e ajudar no que precisar. A localização é perfeita, sem dúvida um dos lugares mais bonitos da Itália !!

Location in Matera a must + Staying in a cave in the Sassi was definitely the way to experience Matera and Le Dodici Lune was a beautiful place to do that. This was by all means not a rugged experience. The cave has been converted into a lovely suite. The bathroom included a large tub to rest after long days of walking. There were dehumidifiers running in the cave along with air conditioning for comfort. Staff was extremely helpful with parking and restaurant reservations and getting shuttle back up to garage when departing. The breakfast was delicious. Walking the whole area to explore was a wonderful experience during the day and night ! − Make sure you arrange a shuttle from parking garage down to Sassi and only have a short walk with luggage to the hotel. It is extremely difficult to figure on your own with an app. The walking instructions should have been more specific with staying on main road and naming street. We used 2 soft packs to carry our clothing and necessities …
