Passable + The rooms were reasonably priced and nothing to complain about. Near Hanoi Medical University hospital. − Just to bear in mind - the hotel does not accept card payments contrary to what the website said. I was unable to pay for my full stay in cash therefore asked to change the dates of my stay which was difficult to organise, in the end I had to call booking.com who facilitated the changes to my stay. The hotel staff did not speak English and we had to rely solely on google translate which made it very difficult to communicate with them.

Friendly staff and quiet location + It is quiet and tucked away from the busy road. Away from the chaos of the city, but an easy grab ride into the Old Quarter. However the best thing about this hotel is the staff!! This is our second stay here and the staff and owner really are the nicest people you can meet. − Nothing at all

A fuir à cause du personnel + Rien − Nul besoin de visiter le penitentier d’Hanoï quand on est passé par le Green Hotel étant donné que l’hôtesse d’accueil est aimable comme une porte de prison. Nous avons réservé pour 1 nuit et ça a suffit pour nous dégoûter. La page de l’hôtel indique que la carte est acceptée, je paye donc par carte et envoie un message à l’hôtel pour leur signifier que nous arriverons dans la nuit étant donné que notre avion atterri à Hanoï à 1h45. On me répond directement « pas de soucis, nous sommes ravis de vous accueillir ». Et bien il semblerait que ce ne soit finalement pas le cas. A notre arrivée vers 2h30, une femme aigrie nous accueille en soufflant…euh bonjour d’abord ? Ensuite elle nous explique (à l’aide de google traduction car elle ne parle pas un mot d’anglais à part le mot « cash ») qu’il faut payer la réservation en espèce. Comme j’ai déjà payé en ligne avec ma carte, je lui indique que je ne peux pas payer deux fois le séjour mais manifesteme…

+ Propre dans l'ensemble. − Gros gros problème d'humidité dans l’hotel. J’ai mis pendre des vêtements pour qu’ils sèchent apres lavage, et 24h après ils étaient encore tout mouillé. A mon réveil, mon lit était tout humide, mouillé (mes draps avaient été changés la veille car j’avais signalé le même problème). J’ai voulu prendre une gélule dans ma boite de médicaments a mon réveil, sauf que c'était devenu un bloc compact avec toutes mes gélules qui collaient ensemble. J’ai demandé un remboursement pour les 2 prochaines nuits (car j’avais initialement réservé pour 3 nuits), et cela a été tres compliqué pour l'obtenir malgré les problèmes rencontrés. Le lit est également dur comme de la pierre, je n'exagère pas. J’ai ensuite change d'hôtel, et bizarrement, plus aucun problème d'humidité. Il s'agit d’un problème propre a cet hotel uniquement. En plus, 90€ pour 3 nuits, cela ne les vaut absolument pas du tout.
