It was adequate but not exceptional + Central location − Noisy location Welcome was an empty pack of biscuits 😵💫 Dinner was ok, i had the pie and it was mostly pastry with very little meat and very dry. Pillows were very hard

Comfortable hotel with an exceptional staff and location. + This hotel has a great location with parking. I was met at reception and the staff were very helpful. My room was immaculate, very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good with good selection of hot and cold items. A special thanks to Charlotte for my introduction, a good stay all round. − Couldn't fault anything!

All good and great hotel to stop in. + The overall stay and welcome was first class. Sunday Dinner was really good as was the full english breakfast the next day. − A male member of staff in bar area for our evening meal had a bit of an attitude and leisurely approach to working. He had to be prompted by other staff to get on with his duties, a shame because all the other staff were brilliant and professional.

Nice stay overall + Location was great and the staff very welcoming and provided good information about parking nearby, room decor was lovely, Sunday roast was great value for 3 courses and the breakfast was nice. If I was to stay again it would have to be at the back of the hotel away from the main road. Can’t fault the staff. − The room we stayed in was at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy especially with the pedestrian crossing beeping, it did quieten down as it got later in the evening but started again early Monday morning, earplugs were supplied so it must of been mentioned by other guests.

Great bustling venue + Great central location despite no onsite parking (plenty 200yds away). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the hotel was genial and the hotel bustling. There was good food on offer and it was great to see a good mix of people using the place. Would definitely return. − The wi-fi was very poor and did not allow good communications in the privacy of the bedrooms. There was also some very loud music constantly coming into the room until around 9.30. This was so annoying as we could not locate the source. Finally, it was great to have a separate lounge area, but during our stay it was booked for outside groups. This meant we had no escape from the interfering noise in our room.
