I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again + Beautiful fireplace that was lit up after dinner. The rooms were decorated with period furnishings adding a lovely touch to the overall ambience. − Small inconvenience in regards to access road to the hotel. Not suitable for elderly parents

OK, distinctive older building, but in need of some attention + Distinctive 'historic looking' building, room was OK, near Victoria Park. Staff overall were OK. − Bit of a steep walk up from the road (my girlfriend had hurt her foot, otherwise wouldn't have been an issue). Building needs a bit of care. View from our room window was just of rubble (rooms at the front probably had a good view). Breakfast was in the next door hotel, but the breakfast was OK.

our stay was just ok. + Shakeeb, the all around one man receptionist made our stay so much better! He was able to help me with my request and any information I needed. − However, the property itself needs an update, the standard room was ok for the price however the hotel facilities and interior including the garden needs improvement.

adequate + Location was good and staff were very good and overworked. Sydney was most helpful. Breakfast was excellent. − The first room I was given was right next to the stairs and opposite the billiard room. So noisy . I asked for a quiet room. It was Sri Lankan New Year so a lot of locals travelling and I was a solo traveller. I was moved to a room in the corner downstairs that was quiet, however it smelt mouldy. I wouldn't stay here again.

Not happy with the stay, location is way inside, nothing available in the night, no heaters + Honestly the location is very difficult to spot on. The property is good , and the staff is also helpful. They have kept breakfast ready as per our requested time. − Location, no heaters in room since it’s cold in Nuwara Eliya. The internet is very bad

Estancia de 10 + Cerca del centro ,lugar tranquilo La habitación que nos tocó está muy bien conservada ,muy limpia La cama comodisima con mantas y edredones más que suficientes,no pasamos nada de frío en la habitación La ducha con mampara cosa que se agradece para no poner todo lleno de agua ,te dan champú,jabón y crema corporal El desayuno,que se sirve en el edificio de al lado ,es tipo Buffet y está todo buenísimo ,te ofrecen si quieres que te hagan huevos revueltos ,fritos ….a parte de lo que hay en el Buffet Nos guardaron las mochilas sin ningún problema El chico que atiende es muy amable y te ayuda con todo lo que necesites

An excellent Summer Stay in Little England with colonial smell! + The location was very convenient and within the city limits and have access to many attractions within the NuwaraEliya City. The rooms were natly presented, as the Propoerty is an Old colonial era propoerty, it looked ancient and kept it's vital components in tact to look as such. We asked for a local falvoured Break-fast which was an absolute treat. − There is nothing specific to mention. The breakfast venue could be arranged in a more traditional environment to match the Properties' ancient look.

+ Le Trevene hotel a un charme fou. Dans son jus, avec des rideaux a fleurs, des doubles édredons, des cheminées dans beaucoup de chambres. Le personnel est hyper sympa. L'hôtel est très bien placé. Et certaines chambres ont même un salon attenant quasiment privé. Mention spéciale a la chambre triple qui est en fait constituée de deux chambres doubles en enfilade et une salle de bains au bout. Bref deuxième séjour pour nous et franchement nous recommandons pour qui recherche de l'authenticité, du charme et du calme.

Un très bon séjour dans un hôtel plein de charme + Très bon séjour au Trevene Hotel. Très bon accueil. Chambre très propre, spacieuse, lit confortable. Salle de bain au top. Nous avons également profité d’un petit salon attenant à notre chambre et notre hôte nous a allumé un feu de cheminée! Un hôtel plein de charme, très british. Très bien placé pour les visites.
