A Design Lover's Retreat + My friends and I had an amazing one night stay at Amaya Homestay. From the moment we booked the accommodation, I was contacted by the Amaya team and provided with all the information needed to prepare for our stay. On the day of, we arrived at approximately 4pm and was greeted by Bong Sitha and his colleague who provided us welcome coconut drinks. Upon entering our accommodation, we were in awe by the space, design and the architecture of the house. The house embraced an indoor-outdoor living concept which was rare to find in Cambodian modern architecture. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. All 3 bedrooms came with 2 en suite bathrooms and one detached bathroom. The kitchen was equipped with basic cooking essentials along with kitchenware such as pot, pans and a rice cooker. At night after dinner, we welcomed ourselves to a karaoke sesh as the property provided mics and speakers. Everyone had a blast! As all bedrooms faced east, we woke up to a bea…

5 Star Rural Retreat + 5 star peaceful and tranquil resort with both hill and rural view from the top. Your own private villa with private pool and snooker table. Good for a family retreat. Friendly and hospitable staff. − The road to the resort is not easy. If you follow the gps while driving will lead you the wrong way to a bridge that vehicles cannot cross. Must watch out and follow the Amaya sign to cross the correct bridge on the left once you enter and transit from the main road to country road.

Idéal pour se retrouver en famille loin de l'agitation ! + l'emplacement à l'écart et au calme était idéal. la maison est confortable et spacieuse, chacun y a son espace. L'architecture de la maison est magnifique. le service de restauration est de bonne qualité et efficace.

A wonderful weekend away for my family! A beautiful modern property with stunning views. + A wonderful weekend away for my family! A beautiful modern property with stunning views. We were so impressed with small details like complimentary toys for kids. We were nervous to book at first after reading other reviews about the road condition to the property, however after contacting the property, we were assured that the road condition is constantly being improved. We arrived from the Kampot direction and were pleased to find that most of the road is wide concrete, with the last section being well maintained gravel. Our small car had no problem getting to and from the property.

Excellent service and a comfortable stay in a peaceful setting, though the location is a bit remote. + The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The facilities were excellent, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing experience. − The only downside was the location, which is quite deep inside and a bit far from the main town area. It can take extra time to travel in and out, especially at night.
