Nestival is worth every penny + Came specifically for Nestival and it did not disappoint. The setup is brilliant, beach stage, great music, amazing crowd and the hostel is right there when youre done. Beds were comfortable, showers worked fine, staff were helpful and friendly the whole time. − Its a bit of a trek to get there with luggage but thats part of the charm. of the charm. The boat schedule to the pier can be a bit unpredictable so leave yourself plenty of time if you have connections to catch, not the hostels fault just island logistics. Other than that brilliant stay.

Beautiful spot, brilliant atmosphere + Came solo and felt at home almost immediately. The social atmosphere here is genuinely one of the best I have experienced at any hostel. Met a group on the first night and spent the whole week with them. Nestival was incredible and the beach setting makes it unlike any party I have been to. Staff were lovely, food was great, dorms were clean and comfortable. − Wore the wrong shoes for the walk in after it rained and slipped all over the place, entirely my own fault. Brilliant place overall.

+ This place really suprised me in the best way. The bar and beach area is beautiful and such a good spot to meet people. Staff were some of the friendliest I came across in the whole of Cambodia. Nestival was phenominal, I had no idea what to expect and it completely blew me away. DJ was amazing.

I came for a weekend and stayed a week + Booked two nights and ended up staying seven, that says it all really. The location is gorgeous right on the beach with jungle behind you and the whole place has this lovely relaxed energy from the moment you arrive. When I mentioned I wasnt feeling great one afternoon a staff member brought me water and checked on me later, that kind of care is rare. Nestival was the real deal, proper sound system, great DJs and a beautiful setting. Food was consistently good and we did the kayak trip one afternoon which was one of the best afternoons of my whole trip. The roosters on the island wake you up pretty early but honestly when the sunrise looks like that you cant really complain. Sand gets absolutely everywhere too but thats just beach life isnt it. Genuinely one of the most magical places I have ever been.

Great value, great vibes + Really enjoyed my stay. Waking up basically on the beach never gets old. Food was better than expected, staff were friendly and Nestival was one of the highlights of my whole trip. ATM fees on the island are quite steep so its worth coming with enough cash, caught me off guard a bit. Would definitely stay again no question.

Wonderful place, beautiful beach + omg the beach here is incredible. We go to Nestival and the party is amazing, music so good and all the people are very friendly and welcoming. Every day I eat at the restaurant and the food is delicious. The staff always help when we have a problem, very kind people. − Wifis a bit slow but I think thats the whole island, so get phone credit

Horrendous stay. + The setting, right on the beach front. Good location in between Longset Beach & Koh Touch. − Tried to put me into a mixed room even though I had booked a female only dorm. No hot water in the shower, even after telling staff it was not fixed. No handwash. Toilet sit all brown staining. Loud music being played outside my dorm all night making it impossible to sleep & a group of lads roaring & shouting, asked reception to speak with them which they didn’t, it went on all night. Do not make the same mistake I made & follow google maps, it does not work properly on the island, ended up in the back of beyond’s. Get off at Longset pier, walk along the beach (more than half of it has a shaded cement path) it only took 10/12 mins max & the tidal river the hostel talks about, there is a bridge so absolutely no issue crossing, wish I had been given clearer instructions would have made arrival so much easier. It’s definitely easier than getting off at Koh Rong & going through …
