Overall okay, nice unique stay compared to other hotels in LA. + Overall pretty good. Property was good, clean, location was nice but 2nd floor was quite noisy. − I’d say valet was a nightmare, elevator takes so long and only 1 elevator works. Room looked similar but I expected more for paying more.

Cool Vibes + I like the design elements of the building and rooms. Quite a creative space and interesting blend of people staying here. The bed was comfortable. A nice rain shower. $5 breakfast bags delivered to the room. Having a great breakfast restaurant downstairs. Erewhon just round the corner. − The light switches were temperamental. That was frustrating. The tap on the sink had toothpaste splash on it. The area was close to where I needed to be but it’s not super safe. The pool are looked much larger in the pictures. In reality the area was small and crowded with adults and kids.

Not great + Cute style − The staff promised things and didn’t follow through, the internet didn’t work, the showers weren’t hot, the fridge wasn’t cold, the AC at the hotel lobby and elevators didn’t work, the pool was too small, the food and valet prices were outrageous and the service was totally chaotic and disorganized!

Decent enough to stay for one night, but stay without a time crunch. + Good location with 24hr parking right across the street with two cross walks in opposite direction. Cozy lobby with friendly staff who don’t hesitate to answer questions. − Before I walked in to the shower stall, there was hair on the shower wall, so it lead me to believe that they rushed to clean due to my request for early check-in which I was charged $60 in advance. Was told by staff that I’d be reimbursed for my early check-in since they had only one room available 2hrs after my request.

Beautiful hotel with great pool + Beautiful design, good food, gorgeous rooftop pool area − Bad bed pillows which made for bad sleep. Bathroom is beautiful but has an annoying rain shower/hand shower setup.
