An amazing respite in the wine country + We were very impressed with the property and restaurant. Angie at reception was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home.. We have very specific dietary restrictions and the chef at Botanica was able to make amazing vegan dishes for us! − N/A

Wish we would have stayed an extra night!! + The hotel was very relaxing and quiet. Breakfast was served in the beautiful Botanica restaurant and was a great way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable.

Lovely stay, comfy bed, great fire-place, very clean and lively staff. It’s a bit of a cave as no sunlight. Good restaur + Very comfortable bed & pillows; fire-place; super clean; lovely staff. − Super dark room and the only windows (also with very little sunlight) meant complete lack of privacy.

Seeking A Special Experience - It’s Right Here! + Bridging a multi-decade gap since an earlier visit to the Hunter Valley, we selected Spicers Vineyards Estate for our base and could not have found better. The setting brings a sense of place that allows one to relax, reflect, and reconnect in meaningful ways; while the staff, facilities, and dining further enhance the experiences and memories built in the days in such a special place. We hope to return in future, and extend our sincere thanks and warmest aloha from our home in Hawaii.

+ Staff was friendly − Parking was way out in the open on a muddy parking spot . It was raining, staff kindly offered umbrella but it was still uncomfortable to walk up there in the rain . Breakfast was very bland , preswntation was not very pleasing Food for 2 people was brought in one tray making it hard to share when having breakfast in bed .

The stay was pleasant, a bit pricey for 3 nights. + Location and vibe − Rooms at night were noisy when neighbouring guests used showers,spas & AC

Comfortable but missing a few of the extras you expect. + Breakfast was a highlight , chefs were great − After hours areas were limited . Staff kindly let us stay in the lounge area but it was meant to be closed at 6pm.

5 stars to the staff team + Staying at Spicers Vinyard Estate has been a memorable experience. Whilst the venue is amazing what stood out for us was the staff. From the personal welcome and care of Angie when we arrived to the staff at dinner who mad e our dinner experience memorable, for all the right reasons. Short break holidays can be good, bad or great. ours was made great by the team, who should be commended for caring for us as if we were family.
