Lovely traditional house, excellent communication – I would definitely stay here again. + Ένα παραδοσιακό σπίτι πραγματικά πανέμορφο, με αυθεντική διακόσμηση και ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα που σε κάνει να νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου. Ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και πολύ καθαρό, ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν ιδιαίτερα εξυπηρετικός και άμεσος στην επικοινωνία. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά μια αυθεντική και άνετη εμπειρία διαμονής!

Beautiful property, really clean and well maintained, but definitely one to be used over summer. + It was beautiful, and would’ve lovely in summer. − We stayed when there was a storm, so shutters and wooden doors were banging all night, power cuts means the emergency lighting keep coming on during the night. We were excited to use the outdoor bath, only to be told there was no hot water available, this was just a “summer” experience.

Lovely week in Kathikas + We had a lovely weeks stay in Spiti Calliope. It is in a great location in a small pretty village. There are several restaurants in walking distance and two vineyards at a short drive. It is a 30 minute drive or less from some great walking spots, and there are lots of low traffic roads around the village for an evening stroll. If you enjoy birdwatching, you can see and hear black francolins close by, and the village was full of swifts. The house is clean and comfortable, with good wifi and aircon. There is everything you need to cook, as well as an outdoor kitchen space. The shaded courtyard is a good space to relax on hot afternoons. The bath is a nice addition to help cool down. Marionos was easy to communicate with and sorted any of our requests quickly. We would recommend Spiti Calliope especially if you enjoy peace and quiet, and being close to nature. − All great!

Recommended for families or individuals who want to experience the traditional village culture. + Well equipped, clean, quiet, traditional design and close to the village square and to a playground with small football and tennis courts.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous village + We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kathikas, with its fantastic restaurants and charming houses. The house itself was very comfortable and the separate accommodation could be very useful for couples and friends sharing. The 4 poster bed was extremely comfortable and great to have a/c and a fan. Our en suite bathroom was new, and we appreciated the nice products that were provided. There's a lovely seating area outside too. Marinos was a brilliant host - so responsive and organised. − Securing the house should not be a military operation! The only real negative (but it is quite a big one!) was the doors - beautiful, but stiff and heavy. You can easily get locked in (which we did) or out (which we did) and you need to put the key in one house to operate the electricity, which means you cannot lock it at night if you are staying in the other part of the house.
