+ Location and friendly staff − Room is definitely ageing and it shows. Main thing is bathroom door had mould on it. Needs to be cleaned.

+ Good location − Asking for quiet room but still had a room very close to the lift. The facility is quite old, can hear the wind at night.

Very disappointing for an Executive King room + Comfortable bed Generous breakfast − Very very noisy aircon/heat unit. The one in my first room was so loud I had to swap rooms, the second room was slightly better but still very noisy. Others attending the same conference, who also stayed at Rydges commented they had the same problem with the units in their rooms. The shower was very erratic - turning hot/cold/hot/cold without me touching the mixer at all. Almost burnt myself once! Room Service was terrible. I ordered 2 sides for a late dinner - steak fries and a side salad. One hour 10 mins later my food still had not arrived - and as it was 9 pm I cancelled. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Great location, staff and stay. + Location, staff, amenities − Sheet didn’t go all the way to the end of the bed so could feel the underlay protector from my mid calf down

It was an enjoyable stay and would come back again. + The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. − Could have got another room, its a bit tight for 3 adults. That was our choice though

I feel for what they charge you get very little, the rooms need an modernization overhaul. + The restaurant attached was excellent − the room was very dated, the aircon unit was extremely noisy and old
