+ Lovely beach location and facilities. Great welcome and looked after by Keevsha. The body massage was one of the best I had by Pasida and the rooms were kept clean with plenty of towels by Janidu. The buffet breakfast was great and extensive and the service there was really good. − Some of the waiting service was slow particularly in the pool side cafe. Not quite a 5 star hotel. The buffet dinner was good but some of the desserts should be kept in a cold or refrigerated cabinet as they were melting.

Très bon hôtel à réserver les yeux fermés, + Hôtel magnifique en bord de plage, le cadre est super, La chambre est spacieuse, lit confortable, tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un très bon séjour, − Le restaurant le midi, le service est à revoir, bien trop long entre 2h00 et 2h30 passé à table alors que le restaurant comptait à peine une dizaine de couvert,

+ Nous avons apprécié l emplacement, les nombreux endroits où se détendre, la disponibilité et la gentillesse des équipes, la bonne qualité de la nourriture − Nous avions une chambre avec soi disant piscine privée, qui tenait de la baignoire. Sdb totalement has been envahie de feuilles et de cendres en raison des brûlis réalisés dans le voisinage. La chambre étant à 560 euros la nuit inadmissible

+ Beautifully laid out and very comfortable room even with two children sharing with adults. Loved the semi-outdoor bathrrom. Kids loved the pool, karaoke room and pool table. Meals were very good. − Beach is ok for lounging on but best to walk to the public beach at Pasakuda along the shore (10-15 mins) for clearer/ deeper waters for swimming. Kalkudah Beach is relatively unspoilt and worth the 15/20 minute walk although the waves can be quite choppy.

A lovely small intimate hotel + The rooms are beautiful, very clean and very tidy. It is a very well kept hotel. Staff are really lovely and could not be more helpful. It is a lovely hotel. − We only had 2 days there which was perfect but there isn’t an awful lot to do around the hotel and beach and sea itself is not swim able. It’s a minor gripe from us because we all adore swimming in the ocean and it isn’t suitable from the hotel. It’s more like a bathing pool and you can only get as deep as your knees. However you can walk round the bay to the beach but obviously no sun loungers there. The swimming pool is also really really warm so you don’t get to really cool off when you go in it. The dinner buffet is a bit limiting and I think if we had stayed for a full week we would have got a bit bored of the food so I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing full board. It was also very confusing what was and wasn’t included in the full board options as we got told different things by diffe…

Really bad pool and beach. No point in coming here. + Super nice staff, rooms were nice (except for the outdoor bathroom it was boiling hot during the day). The beach area at night was beautiful. − Pool water was disgustingly hot. The sea was rocky and very shallow. Poor breakfast. Way overpriced. Why people rate this place high is beyond me.

Loin d'être au niveau attendu, mauvais rapport qualité/prix + la piscine la gentillesse du personnel − Loin d'être un hotel 5 étoiles. La chambre n'était pas propre et n'était pas du tout fidèle aux prestations indiquées sur la fiche. Villa de 118m², qui est en réalité une chambre avec salle de bain extérieur et voisins au dessus... à coté du restaurant et sa musique très forte . Le personnel est très gentil mais pas au niveau d' un 5 étoiles. Buffet très bas de gamme... idem, la plage était sale, les bains de soleil laissés avec les consommations des autres clients sans être débarrassés. pas suffisamment de bains de soleil, à la piscine ou à la plage.

+ The staff was absolutely lovely. − The hotel is located on the worse side of Pasikudah beach. Dead corals and shallow waters so you need sandals to go into the water. this totally spoiled the experience. We walked 10+ minutes every day to go to a better beach. The room was pretty but the hotel lacks in many ways and is not 5 stars at all - the pool is way too hot, the food at the buffet is really not tasty (we recommend the downstairs restaurant), we did not quite like the outdoor bathrooms - works in the Maldives but not so much in Sri Lanka. We shortened our stay to change hotel with no possibility of partial refund so it was a very costly mistake.
