A must visit hotel, spa and restaurants + I visited this hotel with my family on 2nd July for my daughter’s birthday and my daughter and I had a massage at the spa. We had an amazing experience, the ladies who did our massages were so friendly, kind and professional. They made experience special and did one of the best massages we have had. Thank you ladies. We also had lunch at the hotel in the main restaurant, wow! Fantastic food, great choices and so much to eat. The chef and all the staff were so helpful and made us so welcome. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

If you are looking for luxury, comfort, and top-tier hospitality, this is the place to be. We stayed in a Pool Villa, and the bedroom was absolutely wonderful—luxurious, spacious, and perfectly appointed. It felt like our own private sanctuary. The culinary experience was equally impressive, as the food was consistently great, offering fantastic flavors and variety throughout our stay. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the perfect customer service. Everything we asked for was properly organized flawlessly and with a smile. The entire front desk team was incredibly professional and welcoming, ensuring our stay was seamless from the moment we arrived. Wonderful stay, beautifull architecture and nature surroundings, excellent service + If it wasn't for the pool with stunning views over the lagoon with rare birds, it would be for the excelent staff that really makes service personal or the great food. We will certainly be revisiting this lovely hotel.

Honeymoon stay + We booked two rooms for us one for dressing for the wedding and one for honeymoon stay. Everything was as expected and beyond. Staff was friendly since the day one of the booking and helped with so many things. And the breakfast was outstanding and enjoyed the multi cultural foods with so many flavors. Highly recommend for some one who’s looking for a honeymoon getaway

I have the Highest Praise for this Beautiful Gem of a Hotel! + Our 3 day Stay at Anantara Kalutara Resort was nothing short of a Dream! This is a 5 Star beautiful Hotel, designed by Geoffrey Bawa and right at the moment you arrive, everything feels magical! We were welcomed with lovely traditional Sri Lankan dancers and drink that made us feel truly happy, they also blessed us when we left.. Our Ocean view Room was Beautiful, spacious and so comfortable, with every amenity imaginable.. a special thank you to Eranga at housekeeping who was so pleasant during our stay and just amazing, he provided us with everything , every day of the stay.. The entire property is very uniquely designed, with luxury, gorgeous views all around that mixes tradition and modern architecture perfectly.. We were so impressed, we loved the Geoffrey Bawa Library and spent much time in there and couldn't get enough of the property! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a beautiful traditional dance that made us feel so special. A special thank you to Niliniya, who looked after us with such kindness and professionalism throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. The room was stunning, the food was absolutely amazing, and every meal was worth every bite. Our son also loved the Aliya Kids Club—it's beautifully maintained, offers plenty of fun activities, and the staff there were fantastic. To make our stay even more memorable, we were given a beautiful blessing upon departure. It was a touching way to end an unforgettable holiday. If you're looking for a true 5-star experience in Sri Lanka, Anantara Kalutara is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back!

Top notch comfort, luxury, hospitality, devine food and seamless connectivity in one single resort + Conveniently located, Anantara two bedroom pool Villa residence was the perfect spot for a whole family unwind. Hospitality from the start to end was brilliant. We would like to thank all front office personnel including the manager Lashan, our villa host Krish and everyone else who never disappointed us - whenever we needed something they were proactive. There was no need to request a buggy when needed; their active observation was commendable. Dilan not only looked after our house keeping needs, he also made sure we were surprised with his towel animal making skills whenever he cleaned the villa while we were out at meals. One of our best stays + The amout of activities was very impressive, the spa was amazing and the food as definitely a highlight. The spa staff Dr. Tharushi was so kind and so professional, as well as the massage theraphist Rasika and another of who's name I don't remember, they simply made our stay more enjoyable, and on top of that the restaurant staff was exceptional, Kalana, Sashitha and Banukha was trully so kind and welcoming and would go out of their way to make up feel comfortable, The rooms was so clean, and the noise was so calming and quiet.
