The cocktails were excellent, the pool area was lovely, and the location was ideal for us—close enough to the centre to reach everything with a short tuk-tuk ride, while still being a little quieter. − There were a huge number of mosquitoes in our room when we arrived, and when housekeeping cleaned, even more seemed to get in, to the point where we stopped having the room serviced. We also encountered multiple insects every day not only in the bathroom but mostly in the bedroom, including cockroaches and crickets, which made us reluctant to walk barefoot or leave belongings on the floor. There were so many mosquitos we requested a fan from reception to keep them away from our faces while we slept. The rooms themselves felt quite dark. The balcony windows were blacked out, and the windows on the opposite side faced the corrido…
