Loved the stay,would recommend for a nice break in the heart of navan + The breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, the room was comfy − The pillows could have been a bit nicer they were different sizes on each side

Need to do better + On this trip I could find nothing to like about this stay. − Trying to find a way to the hotel with the road works was a nightmare . the grout was falling off the tub in the bathroom the bedroom had carpet on the floors it was dirty and the room was stuffy and needed to be aired out the music finished in the bar at 9pm.we came down for breakfast at 9am and it was not stocked up not a pleasant stay

Overall, great location, great staff. Not worth the room rate charged due to issues mentioned. + Bar area and staff friendliness. Food was good but had a scone on the following morning in the bar area and it was inedible. − Bed was very uncomfortable and the room was too hot. Also bathroom needs refurbishing and a proper shower installed. The soap supplied is terrible.

Good overall, nice furnishings, pleasant staff. + Good location and friendly staff − No kettle in room, although there was teabags, so no way to boil water.

Comfort close to the town centre + The room was very spacious. My children were very excited to have two sets of bunk beds. The beds were very comfortable. The food was nice too. The hotel is close to the town centre. A special mention to a blonde member of staff who was working during the breakfast. She was very helpful and polite and when we were leaving to go to the car park, she helped me carry my double buggy down the stairs because there was no lift down to it. She was finished her shift and I just think it was so nice of her to help. − Only a stairs going from the car park to the hotel. But it seems to be a theme throughout Navan, stairs and steps everywhere

Five star pricing Two star accommodations + Leaving − We booked two rooms and specifically requested adjacent or adjoining rooms — instead we were placed at opposite ends of the hallway. There was also a party room right next to one of ours that played loud music past 2:00 am. We called the front desk to complain and were told we'd get a discount on the rooms, but at checkout the desk clerk said she couldn't actually do that. Between the noise and the runaround, we got no sleep at all. The front desk staff were unhelpful throughout. The hotel itself felt very dated for the price, which was quite high. Breakfast didn't start until 8:00 am. There's no elevator access to reach our room, and the parking lot is so narrow it's really only workable for something the size of a Smart car or a Vespa — bring an anxious driver's blood pressure medication.
