Perfect lover trip + Room is fantastic. Castle's decoration worthy of museum, and furniture on point. Service also very good and welcoming. − The way the breakfast is handled (even tho it is super nice). 3.50 for an extra coffee without clear indication from staff or to at least offer the multiple option feels weird.

Luxurious, Romantic and Relaxing Castle Stay with a real personal touch ! + Perfect in every way! Had the most amazing stay for our Wedding Anniversary. Staff were wonderful and would like to mention Brenda who went above and beyond during our evening meal in the restaurant. We stayed in a Superior Courtyard Room which was incredible and enjoyed the fireworks from our little balcony that evening. Food was amazing in all restaurants and breakfast. We even managed to set Oscar and Guinness the resident Wolfhounds. We will definitely stay again and it has a well deserved place in most Romantic Hotels of Ireland . Thank you − N/A

A Romantic and beautiful stay in a very special place. + We went on our 20th Anniversary for one night and requested maybe a room with a four poster bed, it is a castle after all. We arrived to a beautiful room with an amazing four poster bed in a room with incredible stone walls, in a quiet area of the castle. It was just beautiful and chocolates on arrival. We relaxed and walked the beautiful grounds and then went to dinner in the Derby bar. The food was excellent, we had salmon and a curry dish with drinks. The next morning we went for breakfast to the main restaurant and it was another wonderful meal full Irish breakfast but there was lots of different foods available. Overall the castle looked after us so well on our Anniversary it was amazing. Thank you Cabra Castle :-). − we loved it all.

Nice location, beautiful garden, food should be improved, wine should be pared with finger food out of main meals, servi + Location, castle, room − Lack of porterage service, food , poor breakfast

Beautiful and amazing experience overall. Dinner was delicious and enjoyed Breakfast delivered to our room. + We enjoyed our stay, everything was great. A dream come true for me today stay in a castle ever since watching Bridgerton:) Just wish the weather was better so we could’ve enjoyed the outside grounds as well. − The check-in process didn’t go as smooth as planned. We got there about 2:30 and were told rooms weren’t ready so we went to the bar and had a drink. Went back to try again and got a slightly rude response “well it’s just 3 on the dot”. Two of us got our rooms but the other couple had to wait another 40 minutes.
