Disappointed + While the reception staff were friendly and polite and the lounge/bar area was very nice, the room was definitely not up to a 4 star room. I've stayed in far superior 3 star rooms in other hotels. The amenities were very ordinary. Only stale nescafe sachets and 2 tea bags, no complimentary biscuits, no bar fridge, no lighting over desk for writing or reading. The basin in the bathroom was very slow to empty. Buffet breakfast was very ordinary. Definitely overpriced.

+ Bella struttura in centro città. Camera pulita e con tutti i servizi necessari, macchina Nespresso compresa. Personale gentile e disponibile. Consiglio la prenotazione del parcheggio, al quale si accede mediante l'ascensore dello stesso hotel. Buona la colazione internazionale

Great stay in Galway + The western hotel was a perfect place to stay for two nights in Galway. We had a car and they have a nice parking garage with an attendant who will valet if the spots are full. Staffed reception area and bar and restaurant onsite, my partner had to do a work call late at night and I was able to read a book in the cozy comfortable lobby during that hour. Room was well equipped (no face washcloths though) and while the carpet was a bit stained it felt clean and the beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Great location a bit up from Eyre Square and out of the town center fray. If in Galway again I’ll definitely stay at the Western again.

Aangenaam verblijf + Prima kamer met goed bed en badkamer. Lekker stil. Gezellige bar in het hotel met regelmatig life muziek. In het hotel aanwezig restaurant is gemakkelijk na een lange reis. Op loopafstand van trein en busstation en het centrum van het gezellige historische stadje Galway. − Niets

+ Hotel was centrally located within an easy walk to Shop Street and many eatery’s. Staff was friendly and parking was available. We will stay at the Western on our next trip to Ireland.

Ottima esperienza + Posizione perfetta, camera accogliente e di dimensioni adeguate per 4 persone, ristorante dell’hotel veramente buono e personale di hotel e ristorante molto gentile. − Il bagno, benché di dimensioni adeguate, mancava di spazi per appoggiare i beauty case e di ganci dove appendere gli asciugamani.
