Simple hotel, but unable to provide a business invoice - not suitable for business guests. + Great location - right in the middle of the action and close to the metro. Pretty basic, but that's what you get when you're staying at one of the most affordable places in the area. − The hotel was unable to provide me with an invoice, despite multiple messages through booking.com and multiple whatsapp contacts. It has now been 27 days since I first requested an invoice. This hotel is completely unsuitable for any business guests - stay elsewhere.

Un’intera casa in stile giapponese, comoda e spaziosa! + Una vera casa giapponese tutta per noi (quattro persone, ma volendo ci sarebbe stato anche una stanza in più per altre due persone) − Per me non è stato un problema perché avevamo noleggiato la macchina, ma nel caso in cui sia nella zona con i mezzi pubblici, questo alloggio è in una zona un po’ decentrata

Posizione ok, struttura pulita, ma non ci tornerei. + La posizione − L’accesso é stato complesso, con indicazioni poco chiare e la necessità di dare telefonicamente, tramite un anonimo telefono appeso sul pianerottolo, dati che dovevano già essere in possesso dell’host. La parte più grave è associata ad un evento non dipendente dall’host, cioè al tifone che si è abbattuto su HongKong, le conseguenze l, però, potevano essere pesanti: é saltato il router che gestiva le serrature a codice della stanza e dell’ingresso alla struttura e siamo rimasti intrappolati tra le due porte, senza potere né rientrare in stanza né uscire dalla struttura. Ci siamo liberati sbloccando la chiusura meccanica del portone dopo mezz’ora di tentativi a vuoto. Il personale ha risposto prontamente su whatsapp, ma risiedendo lontano dalla struttura l’effettiva soluzione del problema è arrivata solo nel tardo pomeriggio. Will stay again if visit again. + We booked this place for our Hong Kong trip and had a really pleasant stay overall. We needed a late check‑in, and the host sent over their WhatsApp number in advance, which made the whole arrival process smooth and straightforward. The location is excellent, really handy for getting around the city. Our room was clean, and all the facilities worked properly. Whenever we messaged with questions, we got quick replies. We had read some negative comments before arrival, but my real life experience was totally fine, the price is fit for budget travelers and what they said just like what the AD is.. For travellers on a budget, this offers great value, and I would consider staying here again next time I visit Hong Kong. − Size but this is well known of Hong Kong, not only them.

We will definitely recommend it to fds. + I’ve read quite a few reviews criticising Chungking Mansions. Just something to keep in mind — the public hallways and outside areas are managed separately from this guesthouse. There are loads of restaurants right nearby, and on top of that, you’ll find some of Hong Kong’s best‑rate money exchange shops inside the building. Super handy for travellers. The busy atmosphere out in the building does not reflect the actual rooms inside, and it really is incredibly convenient for tourists. Rooms are tiny, but hey, that’s just typical Hong Kong. Locals live in compact spaces too. All the booking photos show exactly what you get for the room and bathroom, so don’t walk in expecting huge five‑star‑style spaces. The guesthouse itself is kept really clean, cleaned every single day. They supply towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste. Each room has air‑con, fan, hair dryer and solid fast 5G‑WiFi. + La peggiore struttura in cui abbia mai dormito Purtroppo è stata una delle peggiori esperienze alberghiere che abbia mai avuto. La camera ci è sembrata sporca e poco curata. Sul letto non c’era neppure il lenzuolo superiore e ho avuto difficoltà persino ad appoggiare la testa sul cuscino, tanto era la sensazione di scarsa pulizia. Il bagno era minuscolo, circa un metro quadrato, con lavandino e WC praticamente uno accanto all’altro e la doccia costituita da un tubo sopra il water: per lavarsi si bagnava inevitabilmente tutto il bagno. Ma la cosa peggiore è successa al mattino, quando abbiamo trovato degli scarafaggi nella stanza. I miei figli, cercando di prenderla con ironia, li avevano ormai soprannominati “le cucaracie”. − Abbiamo deciso di andarcene immediatamente. Siamo letteralmente scappati e ci siamo trasferiti all’Imperial Hotel, a poca distanza, spendendo praticamente la stessa cifra e trovando una sistemazione incomparabilmente migliore. + Stayed two nights here with my partner for our Hong Kong trip. Room was properly cleaned, fresh bed linen and pillowcases, pillows comfortable for sleeping. Basic toiletries including towels, toothbrushes and body wash were all provided, saved us from bringing lots of supplies. Room size is typical for a guest house in Hong Kong, fixtures are well‑maintained and perfectly usable. We had no pest issues during our stay. Location is really convenient with lots of eateries and shops nearby. Considering the price level in Hong Kong, it was a pleasant stay. I am satisfied and would choose this place again next time we visit Hong Kong.
