Great location and a cool building + Loved the surprise of the sauna. Our room was very comfortable and the location was perfect within easy walking distance of everything. The breakfast was also great. We appreciated the vouchers for the shopping centre too. − It was a shame that the restaurant was closed during our stay (Sunday night) as we had looked forward to dining there. The coffee at breakfast was also a disappointment, we had expected more choice and a proper machine as everything else was top-notch

Charming hotel but disappointing room experience + Charming mid-century hotel in an excellent location. The hotel has a lot of character, and the rooftop view is stunning. − I rarely write negative reviews, but this time I feel I have to. We stayed for two nights for our anniversary and specifically requested a nice view. Unfortunately, we were given a room facing an office building, with no landmark view at all. I’m afraid this may have been because we booked through Booking.com. The room was advertised as having a “city view”, but the photos on both Booking.com and the hotel’s website do not reflect the view we actually got. I’m attaching a photo of the actual view. We asked reception to change rooms, but they were unable to help us, which was particularly disappointing on our anniversary trip. There were some other issues: the bathroom smelled unclean and had plumbing problems, with the floor flooding every time we showered. The towels and bath mat were eventually replaced, but …
