Charming stay + Attentive staff, quality breakfast( 4 acceptable choices), good A/C − Not as close to the main square as we would have liked, especially in the extreme heat of the summer. But still good location.

+ El hotel en sí porque es muy bonito es tal cual una casa colonial − Que no pudimos usar la piscina a pesar de ser una de las razones de reservar este alojamiento porque le tenían que hacer el tratamiento de limpieza y lo hicieron durante el horario de piscina

Hôtel agréable et très bien situé. L’accueil avec le personnel est un plus très apprécié + L’emplacement et le personnel très sympathique − Salle de bain spacieuse mais mérite quelques rénovations (sans que ce soit gênant pour autant): porte qu’on doit forcer pour bien la fermer et la colonne de douche qui fuit lorsqu’on ouvre l’eau

Beautiful, calming, historic, hotel that feels like a resort! + I am very appreciative of the breakfast service in the morning. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool and Jacuzzi were very nice. The facilities were kept clean and you see employees constantly cleaning, repairing and attending to the people. I love the many places to sit and relax. The hotel was very beautiful! It is also in a great area of Santo Domingo. The price was very affordable! I also love how the rooms are named after and include information on important figures in DR history! − The room we stayed in had water damage on the ceiling causing the paint to peel every night. I recommend the staff check it out soon. I tried to not let it affect my experience because I understand it is an old building in a historical town. The mattress we slept on was very hard the first night but it became softer as we continued to lay in it. I would suggest placing trash cans in the common areas because many times I str…

Bien por el precio. + Lo mejor: precio y ubicacion. El recepcionista muy amable. − La limpieza no estaba bien hecha. Contratamos la cama king, pero eran dos camas pegadas, una mas alta que la otra que hacian muucho ruido. La habitacion no tenia ventana. Y el aire acondicionado era muy pequeño para la habitacion, igualmente eso no me molestó pero si buscas tener un cuarto con 17 grados no sera este el caso.
