Beautiful (but pricey) + Beautiful hotel, clean and very comfortable. Beach/pool area and the bungalow are absolutely gorgeous. Good drinks and food. − We felt like there were hidden costs in the end. Make sure you check small letters, whether the price is communicated in dollars or colombian pesos and if some services that you would assume are free of charge are actually an extra cost.

Amazing place to relax + Realy a nice place, but a bit pricy. The food overall was great. We got each night a smal gift, so cool. The bungalow was big and super nice. The KI Whatsapp chat. − Breakfast could be included for the price and maybe the boat too. The bill overview is very confusing.

A literal gem + One of top places you can stsy off the coast of Cartagena. Amazing food, pool area and secluded beach. . Fam friendly ( 10 and 7 year old) and friendliest staff !! We stayed 6 nights and cant wait to go back!

If you’re looking for a island, stay close to Cartagena this is your destination + Everything was lovely through the staff the location in the room the cocktails and the food − It’s not that I didn’t like but the evening dinners has no choice of what we could eat other than dietary preferences some evenings we preferred to have been able to choose off an à la carte menu however the food that they did serve was very yummy

Lovely resort, easy to get to, great for a short stay. + Beautiful small and personal resort. Easy to get to from Carthagena, lovely family room, great food and nice staff. Good pool. Lots of potential. − The resort is fantastic, but it seems to struggle with the balance between hotel and place for day guests. When we arrived on Friday at 3pm, the music was pretty loud. On Saturday, there were around 50 day guests and a DJ. Luckily the staff had informed us in advance and booked one of the cabanas near the beach for us, so we didn’t need to be in the crowd. The other days it was quieter and more laid back. The beach is nice, but apart from that there is not much to do. I tried the outdoor gym but it was infested with mosquitos. The yoga mats in the room are nice, but there were no lessons, nor were there movie nights as advertised on the website. We made an effort to visit the village, but would not recommend it, since there are a lot of street dogs and run down houses. I thinks th…

Nice setting for short stay + Nice setting, worth getting a cabana. Limited to only food and drink from the hotel, surrounding area not suitable for exploring. Set menu for dinner is OK. Breakfast is good. Shared use of some facilities with staff detracts from the specialness of the resort.

A gorgeous stay and alternative to the resorts on Isla Baru! + Such a beautiful place and wonderful stay. A great alternative to Isla Baru and some of the further more expensive resorts that are found there. We loved our stay on Blue Apple Beach. The food was superb, the room was exceptional and comfortable, the atmosphere was calming and lovely, the sunsets was gorgeous, and we fell in love with the sweet cats and dogs that call this place home. The beach is not as nice as those found on Isla Baru but Blue Apple Beach creates such a magical experience it more than makes up for it.

heerlijk relaxte dagen op prachtig resort met top personeel + 2 nachten / 3 dagen hier verbleven met gezin met 3 pubers. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel die er alles aan doen om van je verblijf een feestje te maken. mooi gestylde locatie en kamers, heerlijk eten en fijne duikschool op de locatie aanwezig. rondom het zwembad staat de muziek wel redelijk hard , maar dit wordt aangegeven op de website en je kunt ook rustiger gaan liggen. maar wel goed je dit te realiseren voor je boekt. ik zou zeker nog een keer gaan! − stoelen rondom het zwembad zijn echt heel hard, de bedden liggen zachter:-) De extra diensten worden niet goed aangegeven, zo is er bijvoorbeeld 2 x per dag yoga , kun je massages boeken en is er iedere avond een open filmavond, maar hier kwamen wij te laat achter. als ik de locatie was zou ik dit beter aangeven.

Beautiful hotel, amazing food but would be good to somehow quiet down the action by the pool? + Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The resort itself is very clean and well-maintained. Great pool and good restaurant. − Would have enjoyed the experience a bit more if the pool area would be a bit more controlled in a way that people couldnt just be jumping in and cannonballing it plus all the constant screaming of the kids in the process. There is not much to do in the resort other than just enjoying the weather and pool. They do have SUP boards but the waves were quite big so was kinda impossible to enjoy it (at least for a beginner)

Blue Apple is fine if you just want to sit by the pool and do nothing. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend going if you want + Staff was very friendly and helpful − Horrible music , some of the things in the room didn’t work like the automatic curtain and the shower drained very slowly. Very few amenities for the price.
