Very friendly hotel in a great location. + The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were very very nice and helpful. The location is also great and it's a quaint little hotel in an area where the things around it have gotten a bit fancy and modern. I liked the more retro, small, feel of this hotel. It was also very clean. − The room itself is pretty sparse and a little dated in appearance, but that is sort of the aesthetic of the hotel.

− Infelizmente uma estadia que foi boa teve um desfecho, no mínimo, irresponsável. No meu último dia pedi para que lavassem algumas roupas minhas e deixei as mesmas na recepção. Quando voltei a noite, as roupas estavam em uma sacola no meu quarto, simplesmente coloquei a sacola dentro da mala. No outro dia fiz o check-out, paguei pelo serviço de lavanderia e fui-me embora. Quando cheguei no meu próximo destino a noite e fui organizar as minhas coisas, para a minha surpresa, as roupas estavam todas sujas, da mesma maneira que as entreguei. No outro dia entrei em contato com a hospedagem, expliquei a situação e falei da cobrança efetuada. Disseram que iam verificar e, hoje, quase um mês depois da estadia, sequer recebi uma explicação. Se esse é o descaso deles com os clientes, não é um lugar o qual vale ser frequentado. Não dei uma nota mínima pela simpatia das senhoras do café da manhã.

Good for a nice stay at Medellín + Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our trip around Colombia in March 2026. This small hotel is situated in one of the “good” neighborhoods of Medellín and as such it is a good option while visiting the city, as it isn’t very far from the city center. Far enough to be a quiet one though. The staff was always helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. We got a small but functional room, good enough to work as a base to explore Medellín.

Klein aber sehr fein! + Nahe an heutiger Ausgehmeile gelegen. Eine Oase mitten in der Stadt mit schönem Garten. Großzügige, gut ausgestattete Zimmer und ausgesuchte Möblierung der Lobby. Sicherer Parkplatz für hohe Fahrzeuge > 3 Meter. Sehr nettes Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück.

Excellente option au calme + Endroit au calme, un peu éloigné donc du centre de El Poblado. Les chambres sont spacieuses et disposent de la climatisation. Le petit déjeuner, simple, est pris dans la petite cours très bien arborée, le jardin est magnifique.

Charming Hotel With Lush Tropical Garden + I loved my experience so much at La Campana that I extended my stay there. This is the only hotel I could find in a part of Medellin that I wanted to stay (either El Poblado or Laurales) that had a real garden. Medellin is full of greenery but most hotels are high rises, glitzy and don't have a lot of outdoor space. La Campana has a beautiful courtyard garden visible from most of the rooms and integrated into the breakfast area. Every morning with my my free excellent coffee, arepas, eggs and fresh fruit I got to greet the fish in the koi pond and listen to the birds -- some of whom are quite noisy! The hotel is definitely a boutique, with enough rooms so you don't feel like the only guest, but the capacity is limited. Some of the rooms face the street, but I didn't mind because the view from my balcony (a few rooms have balconies), of the lush vegetation including my favorite banana tree, made up for it. Also it wasn't noisy at night…
