Great stay in Cartagena + Excellent location, walking distance to pretty much anywhere. The rooftop and pool were a great spot to relax. Clean, comfortable and cute rooms. The staff service was outstanding!! Happy and caring people who work hard to make the visitors feel like home. The food was delicious and fresh every day. Their breakfast has many options complemented with fresh fruit and coffee. Definitely a great choice!!

Historic Hotel with Excellent Staff and Great Location + Hotel Sophia OXO in Cartagena is a charming and comfortable hotel located right in the heart of the walled city. We stayed there during Easter and loved being surrounded by the festive activity and vibrant energy of the area. Once the holiday ended, things quieted down, making it a peaceful spot to enjoy the city’s historic beauty on foot without needing any transportation. Our suite was spacious, with a sofa, a table and four chairs, and a king-size bed. The room also had a large wardrobe, plenty of shelves, a minibar, a huge TV with many accessible channels, and lots of electrical outlets—which made things very convenient. The building itself is old and full of historic charm, which adds to its unique atmosphere. While it’s not a modern, luxury-style hotel, it’s comfortable and well maintained. Aanrader voor klasse hotel in prachtige oude stad, met park, en gezellige day -en nightlife. + De lokatie aan het plein in het midden van de ommuurde stad van Cartagena is onbeschrijfelijk. Sunrise aan de ene kant, sunset aan de andere kant. Geweldig uitzicht vanaf de rooftop op de 4e verdieping. Loopafstand van alle kraampjes en activteiten. Heel veilig. Ik kreeg een room upgrade en de kamer was smaakvol, romanisch met hoog plafond, hoge deuren van massief hout. Ontbijt was pure verwennerij. Eggs benedict, aparte fruitsoorten, alles werd met zorg en toewijding bereid. Personeel was uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. − Ik had een vis gerecht besteld. Ik kreeg sla en tomaat ipv advocaat, zonder dat er iets over werd gezegd toen het werd geserveerd. De smaak van de vis was overigens voortreffelijk

All in All I loved the hotel and would stay there again! + We had a great experience at The Sophia Hotel. The rooms (I was there 2 nights- but not consecutive so had two different rooms) Both rooms were great... Roomy & very clean. The Breakfast included was delicious and the staff was warm & friendly. Eric at the front desk was super helpful and I am so glad we stayed here... − We ordered Margaritas at the pool and (our fault) we didn't ask the price, and we paid $20 per margarita... Which was NYC prices... so we were pretty shocked to see a $90 bar tab but again, we should have asked... or they should have mentioned the 'top shelf' was that much!

Ao invés de prestigiar os poucos hóspedes que escolherem o hotel, eles agem com descaso e falta de respeito. Vc podia pedir, mas não tinha o buffet com opções de escolha. Péssimo.

Estábamos preocupadas por los.comentarios de que por la noche no se dormía por el ruido de la calle pero no escuchamos nada de la habitación. Dormimos genial. − El sofá cama no era muy cómodo.p

+ Sehr gute Lage man ist in wenigen Minuten überall. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet mit einer großen Terrasse, leider alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. − Leider war die Terrasse nicht zu benutzen da die Beschattung wie auf den Bildern nicht vorhanden. Sehr schade da auch auf Nachfrage nicht zur Verfügung gestellt.
