3 Tage unter Touristen:-) + Es war gut zu finden und hatte eine Garage. Das Zimmer war hübsch und groß genug. Das Buffet zum Frühstück war für deutsche Gäste etwas knapp, aber die weiteren Angebote auf der Karte waren gut. Das gesamte Personal (inkl. Bar) war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. − Nichts

Comfortable, convenient and quiet! + The hot tub was very good. Walking distance to town or short bus ride from right near the door. The car hire in the same building was super convenient − Lunchtime menu was a bit limited especially for vegetarians.

Eher teures Hotel mit schnippischen Angestellten + Schönes Hotel am Rande von Banff. Shuttle zwischen dem Dorfkern und dem Hotel. − Der Pool war ziemlich unsauber und wenig einladend. Frühstück und Abendessen im Hotel unbezahlbar. Sauna sehr klein. Die Mitarbeiter eher schnippisch und wenig zuvorkommend. Parkgarage für die meisten Autos zu niedrig.

+ I enjoyed the restaurant on site and the hot water kettle in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner were excellent. The laundry room was clean and functioning. − I felt like I was put down in the basement in a back corner. It was quiet, but I still felt like I was being punished. I made my reservation well in advance, almost 8 months in advance, and yet felt like I was put in a less desirable room. This is not the first time that I’ve wondered if using Booking.com is getting me lower quality rooms. Of course, I show up after backpacking for 4 days, but I assume many of the Banff customers have been doing outdoor activities.

Enjoyed my stay was a good base to explore Banff + Parking easy to access. Room a good size and comfortable although a little dark facing the inner courtyard. Pool and sauna good. − I felt it was expensive for what it was but accept it was comparable with other equivalent hotels

+ It was fine. A little old but fine − We had a big problem with our door lock not working. It took hours to be fixed. We were offered another room that did not fit our needs at all as we have a wheelchair that couldn’t even get through the door and the washroom was up stairs They offered me 15.% of my bill for all the inconvenience. Finally settled for 50% off . Price was still very high for one night stay. Well over 700 per night for an average hotel. Not cheep to travel in Canada that’s for sure

+ Bell'hotel in una buona posizione rispetto al centro città. Parcheggio e spa gratuiti molto aprrezzati. La camera è risultata molto grande ed accogliente con una bella vista sulla corte interna. Promossa anche la colazione servita nel ristorante dell'hotel. − Un po' di confusione sul costo della colazione: ci hanno fatto scegliere tra soluzione alla carta o a buffet e, una volta scelta quest'ultima opzione, abbiamo poi scoperto che ci fosse un'ulteriore differenza di prezzo tra buffet internazionale o tradizionale. Solo qualche dollaro in più, ma dato il costo finale per un cucchiaio di uova strapazzate in più, avremmo forse fatto una scelta diversa.

Location nice but not maintained or updated with complimentary features. + Good location for activities. Parking garage was an asset for safety and easy access. − Older hotel without air conditioning. They did have a small fan to circulate air in the room . I tried to use the kettle and coffee pot but it was so dusty I couldn’t just rinse for use! Having a restaurant on property made a cup of coffee or tea costly.
